We love summernats!!! we have been overtaken by horsepower - burnout smoke - ethanol fumes - and one of the baddest horsepower parties in the world!. Hi guys, have recently built myself a 308 gemini burnout car and after 2 meetings im not totally happy and looking for some advice. main problem is it overheats after about a minute and a half. im running a wb v8 radiator 160deg thermo (first tried 180) and genuine style water pump.. All those burnout cars that run it seem to set their tyres and half the track alight though. i also saw an evo with big cams shooting 1m flames on the overrun after it supposedly had been tuned, whether this was the car or the fuel i do not know..
The rage today seems to be drag radial cars or pro mod cars sporting twin turbos with all kinds of electronics running insane 18 mile times. i love that scene too and maybe i'm showing my age, but give me a blown tri five chevy gasser with a big ole huffer pulling -
